Aarau, the first third of the barrel with railed sight flat, raised block mounted post fore-sight, adjustable notch rear-sight, plain nickel-plated Martini-type drop-ramp action, signed 'J.H. BANZIGER - ST. GALLEN.', complex finger-spurred triggerguard bow forming the underlever, double set-triggers, walnut butt-stock with cheekpiece, the right side with inlaid brass escutcheon signed 'J. BAR. AMRISWELL.', Swiss-style heel plate, half-length fore-end (loss to left-side leading edge), 12in. pull including 2in. wooden extension, leather sling, weight 11lb. 11oz.
